Clara stretched as much at she could to reach up to the hanging flower-pot over at the neighbours, the Robertsons. The basket holding the pot with the peach-coloured begonias was knocked off the hook and fell down. Now, Clara had to try to replace it. But it was hopeless, as she was too short.
She knocked on the door and waited.
After several very long minutes, the door opened and Mrs. Robertson said: 'Why Clara, what are you doing here?'
"I'm sorry Mrs. Robertson. I tried to find the key and the basket fell down."
'That's alright, dear. Let me help you. There. Come in and have some milk and cake!'
