P - Blogging from A to Z - Challenge - 18th April 2012

The Letter 'P'

Today is Wednesday, 18th April and the letter is 'P'. 'P is for Peridot', 'P is for Pearls', and 'P is for my little Etsy shop parltradet':

According to Victoria Finlay's book, Jewels, Peridot has a score of 6.6 to 7, and Pearls, a score of 2.5 to 4 on Mohs Relative Hardness Scale. By the way, I've added a treasury about Emeralds (which has a score of 9 on the Mohs scale) on my post for the letter 'E' on 5th April. Go here to look.
