Mrs. Jenny Matlock's Saturday Centus Week 44

Jenny Matlock

Welcome to week forty-four of Saturday Centus.

To read Mrs. Jenny Matlock's instructions, please scroll down past my text which follows here:

'Professor, did he succeed in making them?' asked his young dark-haired pupil with glasses.
'Oh yes! It is worse than I imagined! If we are to stop him, we must unlock the secrets of this very dark magic.' said the older, white-haired, bearded man, dressed in long robes, holding up a small white card to the light. Everything depended upon this single card.
'Sir, if we can find the rest of them, can we destroy him?'
'Yes! And we must!'

My apologies to J.K. Rowlings for stealing and re-writing this compelling scene from The Half-Blood Prince. I have nothing more original to come up with this week. I'm sure that if I took a little more time, I could hammer out something better. But this is all I can eek out right now!
For copyright reasons I cannot mention the names of these characters, but I think many of you may know which ones I mean.

Best wishes,
Anna

I apologize for my lateness in reading the last two weeks links. This bone infection is really kicking my jaw, and not in a good way! I should be caught up this weekend though! Thanks for your patience.

I have to say how impressed I am with the grenade posts. I noticed midway through this week I never even posted my own grenade or ATM stories. I'm all kinds of 'with it' around here lately!

In keeping with my inability to think up anything evil again, this weeks prompt is:

Everything depended upon this single card...

You can use this prompt and UP TO 100 additional words to write a story of your choosing in any style of writing you prefer. Just keep your story PG and try to visit as many of the other links as you can!

Please display link button or just a hyper-link back to Saturday Centus. Be careful to link your SC URL to the Linky and not just link to your main blog.

Please e-mail me directly with ???'s or ask your question in a comment and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Feel free to link up anytime between now and next Saturday! And I promise, I'll be caught up my reading really soon!
