K is for Kyanite. The Letter 'K' for 'Blogging from A to Z in April', Friday, April 12th, 2013

K is for Kyanite. The Letter 'K' for 'Blogging from A to Z in April', Friday, April 12th, 2013. Kyanite is a  blue silicate mineral found in aluminium-rich metamorphic pegmatites and/or sedimentary rock.

Look at these beautiful sapphire blue kyanite gemstone beads from OMGTourmalin, an Etsy shop in Israel,

James Duck of jewelrymanifestation has wrapped kyanite in silver. Look at this! I find it very striking!

My theme for A to Z is my favourite things that might show up in written stories, poems, paintings or jewellery. This is my list of subjects that I would like to work with.

Best wishes,
Anna

Lovely colour, Anna. I love natural stones though don't know much about them especially the less well known ones. the Less common/popular they are, the better I think. Thanks for sharing this.

Hope you and family are fine.
